ok i have installed mik's rc 1.2 i love the rom but im having a problem, pretty much every day or at most every other i have a message come up that says usage monitor error and it fc's. well at that point no matter if i click on fc or wait the phone freezes for a min then goes back to the home screen and then shuts off. i've never seen this before and have no clue how to fix it. ive tried the cleaning the cache and dalvik, ive reinstalled the rom doing full wipes everytime. im also running chop suey as my kernal. any help? im out of ideas

Try a permissions fix. This can be done either in recovery or ROM manager if you have that installed.

If that doesn't work, I would post it as a bug report over on the mikmik so the dev team can take a look at it.

Also, note that Supersonic 3D is no longer in active development. They have switched to a new base and are actively developing that

New ROM
http://themikmik.com/showthread.php....5-GB-2.3.5)-Sensation-XL-amp-Runnymede-mixed

supposedly an update coming in a few days

I edited my original response while you were posting it looks like. Note the new ROM.

I would give that one a try if I were you. Just like Supersonic 3D and still being actively developed

lol just read it before you answered again and downloaded it. good find and ty. one more question do i install the framework or the rom first?

I'm hoping that will fix your issue...

If it doesn't then try wiping dalvik cache & cache, fixing mismatches, and if that STILL doesnt fix it...

File the bug report :)

Its been a while since I've followed that ROM. Flash the ROM then boot and see if everything working right. I'm researching what the framework was for.

I don't really know what you mean by installing the framework, but just wipe, and flash the ROM and maybe that'll fix the problem. :)

Root was building these roms for 3 or 4 phones and ours was the only one on the sprint network. The framework is for MMS I believe because he forgot to change ours.

This is supposed to be updated within the next few days though so it should be fixed soon

awesome ty sir, gonna go give this bad boy a test drive. the wiping and mismatch didnt work again so im down for trying a new one. its been 2 weeks lol

Did you flash a custom kernel?

If so that borked it

Wipe cache & dalvik cache
Mount Data
Flash kernel
Unmount data

Reboot

That method generally applies for all the 3.5 ROMS

If you want to give another 3.5 ROM a try there is virus's eternity.

Or if you'd like something more stable where everything works you can always go to mikG lol

Glad we got you all up and running. Enjoy!

And keep tabs on the Mikmik thread there should be an update dropping tomorrow
