USB access SD card not working

SD card not working either plugging straight into PC. Says write protected or something. With USB, I click the check button to copy files to PC but doesn't show up on PC. Running aosp 9.9.2.

Is the write protected switch on the side of the SD card set to on maybe? That would be the obvious thing to check.

If it is, do not be too embarrassed to say it was. It happens to the best of us once in a while.

Sorry, I meant to say micro SD card so their is no switch.

Oh okay. I thought you were putting your microSD card into a card reader slot on your computer.

Are you sure you are mounting your microSD card when you plug your handset into your computer? You have to mount it first before you can transfer files between your computer and your handset.

Also try putting it in the adapter and then try it in your PC with a reader and see if the PC reads it, if it reads try dragging something from your PC over to the card and see what happens, then try deleting it
