Help USB Charger and Windows 7

This is the first time I've used the USB charger that came with the phone. I'm at work and I use Linux at home, but haven't used it at home either. Anyway, Windows 7 is not showing any sign of the phone being plugged in.

Is there anything I need to do, like download drivers?

Any suggestions?

Have you installed Motorola Device Manager?

Had to update my version and it's seeing my Moto G fine with the stock cable. It's also charging as well, and didn't do either until I updated the software.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know if it charge without the drivers installed (ALWAYS had them installed for data transfers).

It does charge without the drivers but you can't transfer files. I'll install then when I go back to work. Linux, as usual, have the drivers already installed for most hardware.
