USB charging cable

Why cant I use my DINC charging cable charge this phone? I dont know why they would make the micro USB cable different. My rezound has, like, an indent on the cable the fits into the charging port... its not the same. Now I need all new cables.
 
This side goes in the wall adapter/computer.... just an FYI...
