I'm getting the "USB connected" message even when my phone isn't plugged in. It's even gotten to the point where it comes on, then off, then on, then off very rapidly. I did a hard reset on the phone clearing everything and it fixed it for a little bit, but it's since started again. Talked to the Android support team and they have no idea how to fix it. It also won't connect to Kies to update to the new 2.2 upgrade.
Also, the phone will not power on unless it's plugged into a power source. It will stay on, but it won't power on.
I've tried everything I can think of. I have a new battery coming on the way, but I honestly don't see that fixing anything.
