USB connection question ?

Is there a usb port so I can use the desire as a host( receiver of files) ?:

for instance let' s say I have another device and I want to transfer the datas of this device to the desire via usb.

There is a mini usb and so you can connect it to a computer.

The cable that comes with it allows you to use the phone as a USB drive. You plug it into the USB port and select Disk Drive from the menu on the phone which will appear.

You may need to install the HTC software to get the drivers into Windows first though.

So you could transfer data from the old phone to the PC and then back up to the Desire.

Other solution could be to transfer the files via bluetooth.

No you cant connect 2 phones direct to each other, you need a PC or use bluetooth.
