USB Connection to PC [vista 64bit] pic thumbnails problem

when i go to transfer my pics from n2 to my pc i cannot get thumbnails of the pics from n2 sd card to show up on my computer. how do i? and why arent they showing up?

Have you tried this?

1. Click the Organize button on any folder, and choose Folder and Search Options from the menu.
2. Click the View tab, and then uncheck the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox.
3. Click OK.

it was already unchecked. i restarted the computer and the phone and it still will not show thumbnails on the pc from the phone. not sure what to try next?
