I and my brother both have the UK note 2. My brothers battery ran really low before he went to bed and he didn't put the phone on charge. He woke up and put it on charge (about 4% battery left) using the wallplug that came with the phone. After a couple of mins he realised he hadn't turned the socket on. After this the phone would not charge. We swapped batteries and chargers until we found that it was his phone yhat wasn't charging the battery (I fully charged his battery in my phone with his charger). Everytime the phone is turned off and turned back on, it says across the drop down bar "usb connected" even though nothing is connected to the device. The charger fits probperly into the micro usb socket without movement and we've checked for dust/dirt in the socket and its clean (the phone is less than a month old).
Any ideas or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
