Help USB Debugging not working?

Every time that i plug my phone into my computer, and mount as a disk drive, the three disk drives will pop up. But when usb debugging is on they go away, and will not come back up until i take usb debugging off. Can somebody please help me? Oh and the phone is a droid incredible.

Are you rooted? Have you tried turning usb debugging on before you plug it into your computer. Do you have a reason for needing debugging on?

The only time I had ever needed debugging on was when I was using pdanet. And whenever I turned on debugging it would unmount the drives.

I always have usb debugging on, and have never had a problem mounting the drives, but never tried turning it on when they were already mounted.

Try going into device manager and post if there is any device marked with a question mark.
