Help USB Debugging not working

Pypey

Lurker
Hi all! I am hoping one of you awesome people can help me out....

I am a bit of an amateur developer, using my S2 and eclipse I would debug my program as I built it... until yesterday when disaster struck!

I plug my phone to my PC and instead of seeing "USB Debugging connected" nothing comes up. The battery icon says that it is charging, but the ADB doesn't pick up the device, neither is the device picked up using USBDeview (I tried to manually un-install the drivers, but I could not find them).

I have tried to reinstall the drivers using kies, but still no joy, I have restored the factory settings on my phone - no joy. Un-installed eclipse and the android sdk. nothing!

It was working fine 2 days ago... I was able to use the logcat to debug my program, but now it just wont work. Does anybody have any ideas?

P.S I am not trying to copy files from PC to device, I am actually trying to debug the program I am building. Any help is greatly appreciated :)
