does it matter if it is enabled or not. Does affect any system updates from verizon.

right now i don't have it enabled.

i only enable it when i use the app pdanet to tether my phone and computer.

is it good to keep disable it

disable it if you dont intend to log stuff. Or debug apps. It shouldn't mess up OTA, as many of use activated it to log the OTA download location.
