Help USB Host Enabled? (OTG)

has anyone tried an OTG cable with the Optimus F7? im eager to know if it works out of the box :bebored: i have the cable but i dont have the F7 yet :rolleyes:
 
looks like on the stock ROM USB host does not work.
i tried a wired mouse, a pen drive, externally powered hdd, a usb to serial adapter, all showed nothing using USB host diagnostics app.
it looks like the ability to use USB host is not included in the stock ROM.
ill have to venture to rooting and the custom ROM world

No luck. I have an LG870 with ZV5 firmware and Freedom Kernel Lite. I might make a backup and try Simplicity XL ROM to see if OTG works.

how about chainfire usb sick support?
 
I had a similar situation. at first I used xposed framework added freedom lite (which is a solid ROM for unit.d and across. I then flashed simplicity with xposed framework on all of them. While I respect the programming freedom worked hard on for us, I tend to like simplicity xl with xposed t the best:D:D
is there that there will ever be cyanogen like mod fur this phone. I feel this device has great functionality and I don't understand why the optf7 isn't getting regular high j end ruins like cyan our stiff
any advice
