USB jig

Hi guys bought a USB jib and i plugged it in and it done nothing. I re-started my phone and everything was the same. Does any one have any ideas why it didn't load my phone into download mode.

i still can get it to work think i shall have to contact the seller should there be a small light or something that comes on cause there is nothing u turn phone of then plug in and nothing not a zip
 
Strange I've ordered mine so should be here in a day or two, the seem pretty simple too use. Sounds faulty.
 
Mine works fine as well I got it off eBay. I think I read somewhere that the last couple of new Rom releases have new bootloaders that prevent the usb jig from working. have you by any chance updated to a new Rom recently ?
 
no none am on the lighting rom from when i rooted it, here is my info:
Model number- GT-I9100
Android Version- 2.3.4
Baseband Version- I9100XXKG6
Kernel Version - 2.6.35.7 hardcore@speedmod#s2-k1-t17-200hz
Build Number - Lite'ning Rom V5.0 XXKG6
