Help USB lead?

What kind of female USB connector would connect to this dock, is it female micro or female mini usb?

What I want is a female mini/micro usb to male mini/micro usb lead. Problem is I don't know whether it's mini or micro usb I need.

If anyone knows could they advise? My Samsung S3 fits the above dock.

Thanks but unfortunately I don't understand German.

I may not have made myself all that clear but essentially what I want is a lead like this with a female equivalent at the opposite end.

If the female end of that cable will fit the male docking usb on the Samsung Universal Dock (where you slot your S3 onto to charge it) and the male end of the cable into the S3 then it could be the one!
 
Yeah u basicly just want a short USB Extension cable if its male at one end and female at the other you want. You can get em really cheap in like small independant computer shops etc :thumbup:
Its hard to tell by the pic of the dock but it looks like it needs standard USB (not micro)?
EDIT i dont get why you need a female end though.. generaly youd only need that to extend a cable. Ive never seen a device that has a male socket/port :confused:
 
Ahh i see what u mean lol :) thats a strange set up man. I cant tell from the pic whether its standard or micro USB frm the pic tho
 
Lol i cant tell without anything to scale it with but my (completely un-tech-savvy) wife thinks its USB. doesnt it tell u in the product description OP?
 
Yup. Defo a micro now that i see a standard one mate. I forgot the standard one was rectangular :)

So why does this dock want a female micro usb lol??

Well there's the story!!! lol

What I want to do is be able to connect my Note 10.1 to the Universal Dock. As you know the 10.1 has a 30 pin docking port so I need to scale down from the 30 to the micro!!

I thought the left one was a male and the middle one a female. :confused:

I want a a usb to go over the micro usb on the Universal Dock (picture above)
 
The picture I post are all males. It is just showing the three different type of USB connectors.

The link I posted is for a micro USB extension cable with a male on one end and a female on the other end.

I need a UK supplier so eBay is hopefully my best bet.

Life would be easier if there wasn't so much choice to confuse me!! :o
 
I dont wana say yeah yet lol. If both the dock and the device youre connectin it to are definately micro then yeah :beer:
