Help USB Mass Storage

I've just installed some updates to my phone and now the USB mass storage isn't working. It's not PC related - same on 2 machines. Neither is it cable. Running Oxygen 1.04 rom.

When I plug into the PC there is a ping, and I have a drive letter for the phone - but the phone has stopped asking if I want to turn on USB mass storage mode (screen with the green/orange android) Any idea how I get this back again?

If I boot into recovery mode I can mount and access the SD card from there.

Working again now - restored original kernel. I also lost the camera but that too is fine now. Running new radio - that seems fine.

How do you restore original kernal and whats it all about anyway?
