So I have a new I8190 (International version), unlocked. My Windows 7 computer will not recognize it, but it is recognized by Odin every time. I am trying to root the device and try some ROM's but I keep running into roadblocks.
I have tried installing Kies (1,2 and 3), uninstalling Kies, uninstalling the 'unknown device, installing the Samsung drivers directly. I have been able to load the CM ROM, but it locks up on the boot logo. I can easily go back to a stock ROM at any time. I have flashed about 3 different Kernel's with no change detected.
Any help on the USB issue? I think everything else is revolving around what is causing that.
