Help USB Not working???

I just RSD/d back to 902, then 905.

I've always been able to connect via usb cable to my computer. All of sudden, now when I'm connecting it, the phone shows USB connection in the notification bar, USB mass storage is selected.

But my computer shows nothing-no activity at all. No Motorola web site, no drive to access, nothing. Any idea?

I have the Motorola drivers installed, in fact I had the computer connected earlier today.

**I am using the OEM Motorola cable as well, same one I've been using**

Couple of things you didn't mention. Enable USB Debugging under Applications > Development if not already checked. Power off and restart both your computer and phone, then try again. Use the same usb port on the computer that you used successfully in the RSD process. When you plug in the cable you should see the MOT: drive (internal) and another drive representing the microsd card within 30 seconds. They should also show if you click the system tray icon for attached devices.

No I didn't miss it, there was no activity anywhere on the clock area or anything. USB on pc side showed nothing connected.

It makes a windows sound and launches the typical Motorola window when connected(as typical). Friday the 13th...

Did you click on the icon in the lower left corner of the Windows 7 toolbar and select "Computer" and neither "drive" was present? If not, please try that and tell us the result.

He''s referring to the setting in MotoHelper app so that it launches the Moto interface for interacting with the Phone.

No activity in the clock area = no popups about installing drivers / device ready to use.

Making a windows sound and launches the typical Motorola window - Default USB connection tone and the MML link opened in the browser upon connection.
