usb otg and charge simultaneously?

Can it be done?
I like to game with a ps3 controller but i'm not rooted so I have to use a cable, which means I only get a couple hours then have to unplug controller to charge.

The tablet is a tegra note 7 (still no subforum for this tablet..)
But I have a galaxy s4 I'd like to do this with too.

Go to Amazon.com: otg power and choose which one you like. You can probably find them on eBay too.

Don't be concerned with the model numbers they list. IF your phone uses a microUSB connector and is capable of OTG, any of them will work. (You can make your own, but the parts would cost more than some of these are selling for, shipping included. $1.50? Each connector would cost about half of that - wholesale.)
