Help Usb otg

I am having trouble getting this feature up and running.

I have the USB Female to Micro USB Male cable.

I have a 16GB & 32GB Cruzer Flash Drives (both formatted to Fat32)

I have plugged the cable in to the micro USB port and inserted the Flash Drive, but nothing happens.

No notification light

Nothing showing up in liveware manager

No USB Storage connected in notification bar

No information in storage settings

So,

Am i missing something glaringly obvious, that I have to do to activate it?

Or,

Have i got a duff cable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I tried this with my Nokia USB otg cable and it worked fine on my XS with a 2 gig cruiser flash drive maybe you do have a duff cable.

Been scratching my head all day over this, have tried everything I know, and spent hours searching the net too, and I reckon that is probably the case as well

Was a duff USB cable after all

Purchased a Nokia cable, and now have USB OTG
