Long story short - I have a Cradlepoint that I normally use with an ExpressCard (via Verizon). In essence - it turns it into a MIFI.
Based on the posts that said that WiFi tethering didn't worth with the Triumph - I thought that I would see what happens using the Cradlepoint via the USB connection to a droid.
On my Original Droid (through Verizon) - I can go into:
Wireless & Network settings, and there is a section "Tethering"
I can turn on "USB tethering" - and it allows the cradlepoint to create a WiFi network that routes over Verizon's 3g (or 4g) network.
It would be ideal if the Triumph could do the same.
Unfortunately, I can't find any such similar settings with the Triumph.
I did install PDA net - but that doesn't allow the Cradlepoint to connect via USB.
Anyone have suggestions on something to try?
Overall - just an academic exercise...
I doubt that I'll run into an area that I can get Sprint/VM coverage, but that Verizon can't connect using the expresscard, but backups never hurt.
