Hi all, I'm trying USB tethering on Android 2.1, HTC Hero. Now I can surf the Internet via a USB connection. The problem is, some applications still give the error below:
Unable to connect
You need a network connection to use this application. Please turn on mobile network or Wi-Fi in Settings.
I guess these applications perform Mobile/Wi-Fi network checking and neglect USB connection. How can I let them pass this checking, or is there any way to make it as if Mobile/Wi-Fi is on (while they aren't)? Thanks!
