Help USB Tethering

[Paul H]

Hi guys, I got an HTC Desire, connected it to the internet, plugged it into my laptop via the usb, tried to use the internet on the laptop and I get nothing.?

Also connected to the phone via the wireless LAN connection and I still get no internet.

Any ideas? Must be something simple, right?

Cheers

Paul.

Welcome to the forums, Paul.

• You need to install HTC Sync before you can use your phone as a modem.
• You need a SIM card installed on your phone.

1. Make sure your phone’s data connection is turned on.
2. Connect the phone to the computer using the provided USB cable.
3. On the Connect to PC screen, select Internet sharing, and then tap Done.
