Has anyone had problems transferring avi or mp4 video files using windows XP. i keep getting an error message that the files are not supported on this device and gives me no option to continue with the transfer. i can only skip or cancel and either option stops the file transfer. anyone have an idea how to work around this?

i am still running my original rooted droid and never had a problem dragging any type of file to my phone. i'll give dropbox a shot and let you know how that works...thanks!

dropbox worked to get the files on the xoom but the video keeps freezing. i don't know what the problem with xp is.

i just installed dropbox on the xoom and played a .mov file i had in there already from a previous download. i used rockplayer and used "decoding" mode.. video played just great.

i was using a divx avi file. maybe divx was giving some trouble. anyway i was able to figure out the problem. i had to update my drivers and i can now transfer files with now problem. thanks for your help!!

i use windows 7, i once met this case, but if i choose the continue, it will be ok.
For windows xp, i suggest you download the USB Driver for Windows from motorola website.
Once the drivers have been loaded. The PC will recognize the Motorola Xoom device as a portable media player. You can cick on the My Computer icon and then click on the Motorola Xoom portable media player.
