Hello guys, a few days ago i was trying to change the partition tables on my US CELLULAR HTC DESIRE from the USA. I used the ALPHAREV website to change the partition table on my phone, but in the process, my phone stopped turning on. When i hold the power button it just viberates and has a black screen. THE BACKLIGHT DOESNT EVEN COME ON!!!. Now i was just wondering. Can someome please make me a goldcard for my us cellular desire and upload it to a site. Or at the least help me with UNBRICKING my SLCD bricked htc desire. Please do not copy and paste from other websites or fourms. Thank you so much.
By the way. If anyone can find me a USCC desire RUU 2.2 update. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
 
This is not an slcd brick. This is worse. Alpharev tables ARE NOT for CDMA desires.

What screen do you get if you hold back and turn the phone on?
 
It shows nothing when i press VOL- and PWR. Or BACK plus PWR. Neither of them bring anything up for me. Do you have anything i can do?
 
First we must ensure we can get a fastboot connection. I assume you used some sort of application / flash utility? If so, scrap that. We're going command line. If you haven't set up your computer for fastboot, you must.

Please read the adb and fastboot faq by following my link in my signature. Skip the adb stuff right now, its completely irrelevant.


The aim right now is to run "fastboot devices" (will become clear reading the faq) whilst in fastboot screen (back plus power from off).

Im sorry. But i kinda kipped ahead! AND IT WORKS!!! So All i had to do was find the RUU for my phone. I looked EVERYWHERE over the past week. And gues what? It was on the HTC USCELLULAR WEBSITE!!!!:) But first I had to get a FASTBOOT connection going between my Phone and PC and i downgraded my HBOOT. So now im glad it works. But i have a blackberry coming in the mail... Hmmmm.. Now what? LOL
 
My next question is how can i get a custom partition table for my phone? I would love to install this custom rom. But i need to change my partition table for it. Please let me know. Thank you
