Use Camera for Vid???

Probably a very silly question but is there an app which can convert my camera into a camcorder/vid device too?
I can take decent stills but no films, as far as I can tell - no mention of them.

My ancient budget button-bar Nokia can do it, so I kind of think it's a matter of honour that my Galaxy should.

There should be an option in the camera app to switch to video. There should also be an icon you press that switches these camera modes not to mention you should have a video recorder app.

Found it! Thanks Metroid. Just knowing it must be there made me look again and I spotted an obscure icon on the top right hand side of my screen.

It's unusual, as it's a camera icon but when you hit it, it swaps to vid.

Thanks.
