Help Use Incredible asusb webcam

Here is what I want to do and maybe womeone can point me in the right direction:

I use skype and dont have a webcam. I have an HTC incredible. I have used the skype on the droid and it sucks. I have used qiik, but the 6 second lag sucks as well. I want to take the usb cable (or maybe over internal wifi at my house) and plug into my laptop and use the camera on the droid as a webcam while im in skype. Any ambitious people out there?

I've seen some apps that claim to do this. But they all cost money so I never bothered to try myself... no clue if it works with Dinc either.
