Use note 10.1 while it is being charged

My son always plays game on the note 10.1 while it is being charged.

Does this cause any damage to the tablet and/or the battery?

I wouldn't have thought so. I use mine to check emails, brows web, write notes and read a book whilst on charge.
No different to using a laptop whilst charging.
Not an expert on this, but that would be my thoughts.

i use mine sometimes while charging, not had any issues up to now.
