Root Use on Verizon?

Since this phone and Verizon are CDMA would I be able to use this phone on Verizon? Prepaid or contract?

Virgin Mobile phones are pretty much locked and exclusive to be only used with Virgin Mobile service.

Virgin is anal about using only Virgin phones on Virgin networks but from past experience Verizon doesn't care about bringing in your own phones. There just may be the MMS problems that we always have since the phone is designed to work with Virgin, or Sprint depending on your ROM.

Actually according to Wikipedia, CDMA is used by over 300 operators in over 120 countries: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_CDMA2000_networks

I'm sure I could fix the MMS by myself if I just copied down the messaging center number and a few other things and edited the settings on this phone. Idk. If I'm able to flash it to Verizon, and I fix MMS, would I be able to post a thread on here telling ppl they could use it on Verizon and how to do the MMS fix? Or would that be against the rules because of legality issues?

As to the legality of it with the recent Library of Congress ruling it may still be allowed because this phone was introduced beforehand and so probably is grandfathered. IANAL
