Help Use Packet Data (internet) Shortcut

colin310

Lurker
Hi,
posted on another thread, got a reply but didnt answer my question......
Ive just got a galaxy y....changed from a galaxy europa.
Currently need to go-
Settings---->Wireless & Networks--->Mobile Networks--->Use Packet Data
to turn on the data network to allow internet access.

In my europa, which had the latest firmware, when i pressed the off key it gave me the option to turn it on/off there. My g/f has the W & has this option aswell. Checked my Y firmware & it is the latest level.

Is there anyway to have/enable this option or a similar shortcut?

Thanks

Hi,

You can download Data Enabler from Android Market. You can keep shortcut of this app on your home screen. Just tap it enable/disable internet.
