Root Used 1-Click Path Saver - and RSD Lite failed.

Jnet9102

Lurker
I was attempting to use the 1 click path saver for Bionic program to move to .902 so that I could use a beta ICS rom. I ran it, it seemed to be working, until I got to the RSD Lite step, when RSD Lite failed the flash.

"Failed Flashing Process, Failed Flashing process. flash webtop "grfs.img" -> Phone returned FAIL. :Phone connected.

Not a very "skyrockets in flight - R S D LITE" sort of situation.

I am currently sitting at the bootloader. I have tried restarting RSD Lite. It is on Win7, but is running in compatibility mode for WinxpSP2. Also running as Administrator.

I have tried a few times, however since the 1 click path saver is partway through, I have not restarted the computer or phone.

Advice? And, if I restart my phone right now, will it work, or am I currently bricked?

Most likely will not work. It sounds like that one file that always gives us an issue - b/c of it's size. the regular fastboot built in with RSDLite cannot handle file sizes over a certain size (1 GB? 4 GB? - but the moto_fastboot file should be able to handle it.

However, I haven't looked into Path saver. I do it all manually. So, I'm surprised that path saver is not taking this into account and using moto_fastboot....

Don't reboot the phone, make sure that you attach power (wait, bootloader - hmmm) an get on some IRC channels asking what to do for a much faster answer.

Where might I find a good IRC channel for this issue?
