Used S3 Won't Charge

I couldn't find an exact similar problem by using google, so I will make it short and to the point.

Phone won't charge when plugged in (I tried two different chargers). The computer also will not recognize the phone.

I took the battery out, and cleaned the inside of the USB port with rubbing alcohol, and also inspected it for any dust, and the port is absolutely spotless.

I tried a factory reset, and wiping cache, and both changed nothing. Also, the charger I tried on the phone worked on three other (different) phones.

What I am really asking is that if I were to order a wireless charging kit if that should fix the charging issue. I am rather unfamiliar with phones, and would like some others advice. Thank you in advance.

My s4 mini stopped charging. I tried another battery , same. It was sent for repairs under warranty. Two weeks later got it back all ok. On papers it is written that they changed the pda because of 310 error. Hope this help. Good luck

Thank you very much for your input. I ordered a Qi Wireless Charger Pad/Mat Charger Cable for Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 + Receiver. People said this works if you have a broken USB port which I suspect. I will look into that though. I ordered the phone from a third party off ebay, so I'm not sure I can send it in for repair under warranty.

If it's under 2yrs old in Europe or a year in US then it's still under warranty, used or not
