Username and Password

For my job we have a website to monitor the status of our windfarm and whenever you enter the site you must type in your user and password. I know on my co-workers iphones they can enter the site fine, but on the droid it doesnt ask for a username or pass it just says the address is restricted with no pop ups to enter the info. any idea how to fix this?

Ive posted this on the verizon forums too with no answer, any help is appreciated, thank you

Do you have Javascript enabled? If it is on, and it still doesnt work try a different browser like Dolphin.

yes java is enabled and I have tried dolphin a get the same thing, i dont understand why it doesnt prompt for sign in

Are you using the root address to sign in? I had the same type of problem if I put (ex.) www.whocares.com/login/myname.here.html. But when I tried www.whocares.com/login I got the login popup. Probably not your problem, but worth a shot...
