uses for optical trackpad?

Hi

The only time I use the trackpad is to navigate between letters when editing text in messages/email (although to be honest it took me a month to realise that's the best way to do it - previously I was using the touchsreen which, whilst generally accurate, is tricky between letters :D). And to take photos.

Are there any other day-to-day uses for it?! (i.e. not for to a specific game, or whatever). It seems a little redundant.

I think was mainly kept as another option for (us) users so that we wouldn't always have to touch the screen - flicking it up or down, tapping it, etc. So yes, it can be in many ways "redundant". Like you, I mainly use it to get in-between letters/words in emails/txts.

Yeah I just realised it is the best way to move the cursor to a desired location in text when typing. I will try the link thing too! Thanks.
