Root Using 4EXT to partition SD card - Help, please!

I have 4EXT Recovery Touch and aim to use that to add an Ext3 partition to the SD card to use for A2SD+.

I selected Tools, Partition of sd card, tick and then it gived me 2 options.....
  • Remove all partitions and start from scratch
  • No - save my fat32 partition!
My instinct was to chose the second option, but, that then says I don't have enough room for new partition!

The first option worries me as it implies it will wipe out the whole content of SD card!!!!!!

Can someone point me at the right way to do this, please?

*UPDATE* Sorted it - I needed to copy files from SD card to PC first and copy them back afterwards!

we await your next problem then :D

I used gparted, 4ext wasn't about when us old timers had to partition. :D

yh, everybody calls me shauny or sheep, so i gave up with shaun.

Well, spookily enough, this is the wallpaper I use on my Desire.....
