Help Using 4G slows down my EVO!

Update update update.

I've updated more often than you typed the word update.

I run a Firmware Update, Profile Update, PRL update, and HTC Software Update every week (sometimes more often)

I've also bypassed the widget and turned it on directly. Both ways cause problems.

The $200 ETF isn't looking too bad to me right now if resolution never comes.

I've had this issue as have others in the forums. Somehow it is related to using the widget to turn on 4g. If you use the settings menu to enable/disable 4g, you should not have the same lag.

However, my 4g experience is still negative as most web pages don't load completely when browsing on 4g. They hang up somewhere in the middle of loading and I have to stop and refresh. Can't find anyone with a solution for this.

Contact Sprint. I think I read somewhere on the site that they can push you a fix for this.

As to the lag of using the widget vs Settings, that seems to be fixed in one of the updates for me.

My only ongoing 4G issue is that the speeds aren't consistent. There are times when I get just over 1500 DL and times where it's as high as 8200. UL seems to always be in the 1100-1600 range.
