Using a Note2 car charger?

1. Is the port on the Note3 the same as the Note2?
2. If not, is there a way to use my Note2 charger with the Note3? Maybe with an adapter? Or should I just get a new charger?

Thanks.

No... you can use the note 2 cord or any micro USB cable sine the USB 3.0 port on the n3 is backwards compatible

^Yes
But obviously if you use the Note 2 charger, you won't be able to charge as fast as the Note 3 USB 3.0 charger.

I am currently using the same car charger I use as my Note 2 did. It's the one that came with the general Samsung car kit I bought. It works.

I will also note that you and everyone here should check out the really in depth review of the Note 3 by AnandTech as to the USB3 port:

AnandTech | Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Review

Sooo, yeah, go for it. Use your normal micro USB chargers from your Note 2 for the car. It won't matter from the looks of that review and what I've seen.

Only going to make a difference if your charging the note 3 with your computer if it also has a 3.0 usb port.

The batteries are very similar and the note 2 chargers will work just fine on the note 3.

I have a bunch of micro USB cable chargers lying around. Is there anything I should look at before using one to make sure it will be safe to use? Voltage? etc.?

I noticed last night that there are 2 connectors on the Note 3, either cable will do for charging.
