Using Ad-hoc wifi on the LG Optimus One (P500)

Hi! :)
I have an LG Optimus One (P500). I'd like to know how to use ad hoc wifi on the device. My phone is not able to detect ad hoc networks created from a notebook using softwares like connectify. But when I use the app "Wifi analyzer", the adhoc network shows up. But I am not able to connect to it.

Any solutions?

android cannot detect adhoc networks.
solution for this is use CONNECTIFY software on ur laptop or pc having wifi.
Install it and then click start hotspot.
Now u hav u r own wifi hotspot connect as many devices as u want.
Hope it helps.

But as I said.. Connectify creates "access points" only with some wifi cards on notebooks. Otherwise it can create only ad hoc networks.
