Hi all!
I am a new Android user. Just got a Samsung Galaxy 5 i5503... However, I'm facing a major issue with my network provider. It is that the internet access I have on my phone is only possible through a proxy server which only allows traffic destined for web page ports (80, 8080).
This means that the only internet application that works is the browser. Is there any way to actually get to use the Android Market, G talk, G mail, Calender, etc?
I have tried to get help from my network provider (Airtel in Zambia) but have never got a response that a trained chimp couldn't give. Hence, I turn to this forum. Hope you guys know a few tricks
Thanks in advance.
