Apps Using ASP.Net Web Service (3.5) in Android

Hi

I am trying to connect to a web service (coded in ASp.net 3.5 Express edition) in Andoid Code, but I am getting the following error

android.os.NetworkOnMainThreadexception

when this line is executed
androidHttpTransport.call(HelloWorld_SOAP_ACTION, envelope);


1. My Web service code is as follows- which working(I tested from C# Windows application)

This could be because of StrictMode mechanism. StrictMode is most commonly used to catch accidental disk or network access on the application's main thread, where UI operations are received and animations take place.

You can read more about this here. If you necessarily needs to do that(this is not a good practice), put this code in the onCreate() of your main activity before setting the layout.
