Using AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 in Europe

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 and got the unlock code directly from AT&T. I tested with a T-Mobile SIM card and was able to use it.

1. Does anyone know if it supports whatever frequencies that are required to work in Europe? (More specifically, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and throughout Italy)

2. Anyone know of a pre-paid service that works throughout Europe? Or, do I need one for each country. I just need about 500MB-1GB of data for a 2 week period. Maybe some local text msgs too.

I was recently in London, Amsterdam and Paris (although not Italy, but I doubt that would be a problem) and my phone worked fine. Granted, I only used free wifi for data which was easier to find in London than in Paris.
