Root Using BakedSnack 1.7 lost 5 point multitouch

Thanks. I Just came off Cyanogen and waiting for Baked 1.7 to download from Rom Manager now. I never noticed the difference when I had it before but after seeing the video posted in the Best Rom tread I'm heading back to see if its really smooother then Cyanogen.

That was my post actually. I've tried Cyanogen and it's also smooth but I wasn't too fond of the camera. And I've read it does force close once in a while. Besides not having 4g, hdmi, or FM I couldn't see much difference in smoothness compared to Baked. However I did notice some websites were smoother on cyanogen.

By the way were you able to get snap turbo to work. I kept getting a reset loop initially then eventually got to enable it then I played Asphalt and the screen got all screwy. I just gave up on it.

You can download multitouch vis test from the market.
Okay so I have Froyo 2.2 stock rom on my phone and the only thing I have done is rooted with unrevoked 3.2. I just downloaded the multitouch vis test and it only registers two points. When I put three fingers on only two register. So I only have a two point screen?

It's not your screen, its the kernel. Unfortunately without being rooted you can't update your kernel. If you're not as picky as I am then you don't really need to worry about it only allowing 2 touch.

Your the second person to mention Snap Turbo. Not even sure what that is. I do know Asphalt still looked choppy for me compared to the Epic, (I'm returning before the 30). I'm guess I need to flash a Kernel before I see some results on 1.7? Mines says 2.6.3215Hero Mod. I was thinking this ROM included the Kernel.

Downloading Multitouch app now. Thanks again

I don't think were gonna get as smooth as the Epic. So compared to the video I posted, your asphalt doesn't run the same? I'm only using Baked Snack stock and not over clocked. His rom included his #6 kernel. I noticed overclocking causes the phone to pause sometimes.

Snap is supposed to speed up the phone even more. Some are reporting 2000+ in quadrant.

Edit: I had the Epic for a bout a week.

By the way can you try using launcher pro or awd see if it makes a difference in smoothness

I'm glad you told me 6 was in it already. I literally just downloaded #4 because I seen the 5 point included. I'm going to download Snap right now.

Snap is for Cyanogen right? I almost added it to Baked. I never got to try it on Cyanogen. I got cha now. I was confused.

My stopped PSX4Droid wont read my Street Fighter file for some reason. Wanted to see if was different on Baked. Will try Snap if I go back
