Hello.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned but this app 'LG Touch LED Notification' can make our capacitive buttons to blink when there's notification event.

It support basic notification function of Gmail, SMS&MMS and Missed Call Notification. I sent email to myself, called myself, messaged myself to test out all of them worked well. My buttons were blinking when I ignored them and let the screen sleep.

Also there's a monitored activities option so you can set custom notification on certain apps. I haven't tested out this yet though.

There's also bettery saving option so you can disable them on certain period like during sleep.

This app is no longer in update but still works well with our Spirit. Also it requires root permission on several files when it starts, just grant them.

Here's the market link.
Or just search LG TOUCH LED from playstore.

cool I'll try it out.

Yeah I already caught up an important email because of this app. Normally I wouldn't be able to catch unless I turn on the phone but this time buttons were blinking so I was able to respond email quickly.

I Like this app :)

Works for me :) I always either have my phone on vibrate or silent so this comes in handy.

I'm loving this app. Now I don't have to wake my phone up to check on missed notifications. Battery saver!
