Using Desire HD for Xbox storage

I own a Desire HD and want to use the device as a portable memory card for my Xbox 360. The 360 supports saving files to a USB flash drive, yet whenever I set my phone to this mode and plug it into the console nothing happens. It doesnt register that the phone is there at all. I've tried reformatting the SD card in FAT32 like the Xbox supports, tried different ports, restarting both phone and console, all the basic things. Any ideas?

For some reason, Xbox 360's do not like Android phones. Which is odd. It works fine in a PS3. Mass-storage works in almost any device that can mount USB, including Microsoft Sync radios.
