Help Using earplugs (plugged into headphone jack) and speaking on the phone..

I just switched over to the fascinate from the Incredible, and I'm still trying to situate myself to a point where I'm comfortable with the phone.

With the Incredible I could have ear phones plugged into the headphone jack, or my my Tape recorder adapter as well in my car plugged in so it'd play music over the speakers... but whenever I receive a call I'm not able to have anything plugged into the headphone jack and still speak into the mic. I can hear what people are saying, I just can't talk through the mic to them. Is there a way around this?

Just saw an explanation for this... hopefully when they push the next update there's a solution for this (since it was mentioned it was solved via DJ05)
