Using Exchange Email without passcode requirement?

1.) Does anyone know of an app or a way to use exchange email without having to type a pass code to unlock my device? My work email requires a passcode to unlock the device.

2.) Is there a way to set it up so that at least if I enter a passcode to unlock the phone and the screen goes to sleep, I don't have to reenter the passcode 10 seconds later, perhaps I could go without re-entering the passcode for a period of time?

That's up to company policy. Evidently not.

You have a few seconds. Or, if the phone is powered, charger or USB, you can use a widget like StayAwake to keep it from locking. (Or just set the lock time to the maximum (which will kill your battery faster, but that's how the world works).

No, but I had the same annoyance with with the administrator rules around my exchange connection. They also forced encryption of internal and external storage. I found an app the other night called "Outlook Web Mobile" that logs you in automatically, and reformats OWA to be phone friendly. It also supports notifications and the ability to download your calendar to your phone.

I use an app called Touchdown for my corporate email. It will compartmentalize the exchange policies within the app so you don't have to deal with the pin every time you unlock your phone. Only when you need to access your corporate email within touchdown. Tons of other features as well. Set peak/off peak hours to stop sync during night when you're sleeping etc. Highly recommended.
