I have a contract with T-Mobile that has 'unlimited internet access' and I have a Wildfire.
I was hoping to use this to enable me to access the internet on a netbook and it seems like the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot function would do the trick.
However, when I tried this I get on to a T-Mobile page that is then asking me for more money and it seems that T-Mobile can detect that it is a different device than the phone trying to access the internet.
Can anyone confirm that this is correct and, even better, is there any way round this so I can use the netbook/Wildfire combination without any extra expense?
