Hi all, new to android and can't get the mail program on desire to access server. Tmobile say I need to to get push email at a cost but surely the standard mail should be ok by just entering any email account?
Help appreciated.
There are two mail programs on my Desire, one for Internet (smtp/poop) mail and one for Google Mail. I think the Interet mail client is also compatible with MS Exchange Server ActiveSync (sadly not the MS Windows ActiveSync for Windows CE/Mobile devices).
What kind of email service are trying to connect to?
Thanks for reply Ian, I have got the gmail to work its the smtp one to use for hotmail,o2 etc, it just comes up with unable to access server. Tmobile says I need to pay for push email but it is crazy. Gonna get ticked for posting here though.
