It might be a placebo effect. Not sure myself since this is the first time I tried using it. Since the Epic's charger is so slow, I switched over to my Hero's (using the same USB cord) and it seems like it is charging much faster. If anyone else has a Hero and wants to try, maybe we can get some solid data here
