using my pictures as wallpaper

can anybody help i have a htc desire and when i try to use my pitures i have taking with my phone as wallpaper on my home screen they are to bit and do not fit on my screen cheers
 
When you choose the source image, so in this case an image you've taken, you'll get a green box appear. Touch and drag from the bottom right corner(I find that one the easiest) to increase the size of the box and then press inside the box and drag to move it. That way you should be able to get most of the image as your background :)
