Help Using my tablet to connect to my TV

I have a Technika 15" TV with built-in DVD player. The model number of the TV is: lcd15dvdid-107. My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 inch (model number:SM-T210).

As far as I know, the TV doesn't have WIFI connectivity. I would like to watch Iplayer on my TV. Can I connect my tab to my tv so I can watch Iplayer on my TV? (using iplayer on my tab but being able to watch it on my tv instead of my tab).

If - the TV has HDMI input and if your tab does MHL. (And if you buy an MHL adapter to connect them.)

Chromecast will work if your TV has an HDMI input. Cost is about $30.
